In the Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 levels, students begin to apply the fundamentals by building stronger foundations at this age. Students will be receiving unparalleled training at ICSB that will prepare them fully for the Preparatory Academy. They begin to further develop concepts on how to articulate their feet, while providing a stronger focus on placement. They also continue to expand their grasp of the classical ballet vocabulary.

Placement in Ballet 1A, 1B  or 2 is determined by age and prior ballet training.  Ballet 1B and Ballet 2 students are encouraged to take additional classes each week.
