PRICE: $70 (per monthly installment)
CLASS OPTIONS: One 45 minute class per week
An introduction to the art of dance in a nurturing environment ideal for children ages two to three years of age who are toilet trained. Imaginative exercises serve to be an outlet for active minds. The classes also satisfy a child’s natural instinct for movement. Facilitative props are used such as scarves to teach fluid, graceful movement and mats to develop spatial and pattern awareness. Classes are taught with classical music that pertain to the great story ballets. Your dancer will grow imaginatively and creatively through this class.
Each quarter a different theme will be introduced, revolving around various ballets. Classes will include music from the ballet, an introduction to the story, history, composer, and choreographer, and developmentally suitable dances from the ballet. Students may earn travel stamps as each week a different aspect of the theme is explored – such as traveling to the Land of Sweets.
